Volunteers Program
(Sponsored by Britannia International)
Are you interested in being a volunteer at the Isle of Man 2011 Commonwealth Youth Games?
The Commonwealth Youth Games ("CYG") 2011 will be held on the Isle of Man 7-13 September 2011. Over the next year we will be looking for approximately 1500 volunteers with a variety of skills and experience to assist throughout the games in a number of roles.
We are currently looking to recruit our first batch of volunteers who will act as attachés, there will be one appointed to each of the visiting teams so potentially 70 in total. We feel it will be beneficial for each Commonwealth country to have their own designated point of contact while they are on the island. We are looking for friendly, helpful individuals who are interested in sport, the Isle of Man and other cultures. No language skills are required, although if someone had a preference to deal with a certain team we will try and match this up.
If you are interested in any voluntary role please complete and submit the following form
If you would like some more information or have any queries please direct them to the CYG 2011 Volunteer Coordinator, Victoria Karran, at enquiries@cyg2011.com
